I rang Sandy Lane Garage and spoke to Tony Bowden, I asked him for his assistance, as I had broken my car!! He asked me, quite correctly what I meant.
I explained that I had managed to snap both the handles on my car seats and was worried I wouldn’t be able to take any passengers anywhere, as it’s a two door vehicle.
My Car was well overdue for a service and the MOT was due within the next few weeks, I asked whether I could book the car in with him so he could have a look and advise me accordingly. The only problem was I didn’t know where Sandy Lane Service station was.
Tony advised me that this wouldn’t be a problem that he would come out to my Place of work and leave me a courtesy car to use whilst mine was in for repair and deliver mine back when the work was complete.
True to his word a representative from Sandy Lane Garage arrived at my place of work with my ‘swap’ car. The loan car was immaculate and after handing over my beloved car I waited for the phone call.
Tony telephoned later that day, and explained what had happened with the car seats and gave me a thorough breakdown of the casts involved for the repair, service and MOT. I didn’t feel pressured in any way to make a decision and give the go ahead.
I did however ask him to proceed, as I thought that the prices were very reasonable. I was then advised my car would be worked on the following day and that somebody from the garage would be in touch.
Again, true to his word Tony rang me the following morning to advise me my car was ready and would be returned to me at 1pm. My Car was returned at 1pm and to my great delight, not only was the seats repaired the service and MOT complete, but they had also taken the time to valet it inside and out at no extra cost!
The service I received from Sandy Lane was excellent in value for money, courtesy, reliability and promptness. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone and everyone!
